Pastor Carlos Jones

Pastor Carlos Jones was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Oscar and Annie Jones.  He is married to the remarkable Arnithra Jones.  He is the father of three beautiful daughters: Marnitra, Carlandra, and Ariyonna.  He has been employed with the State of Georgia for 20 years.  Eighteen of those years was with the Department of Juvenile Justice.  He is currently employed by the Laurens County School System, where he teaches at West Laurens High School.  He is currently a varsity football coach and the Head Track coach.  

He was called into the ministry in 2001 and licensed by Pastor Willie T. Strange on December 29, 2001.  He was ordained on November 16, 2003 by Pastor Willie T. Strange.  He served the ministry of Mt. Tilla Baptist Church as Youth Pastor and the associate to Pastor Willie T. Strange for four years.

In October of 2005 the St. Luke Baptist Church called him to be the Pastor.  He worked with the St. Luke Baptist Church for 4 months before accepting the Pastoral of St. Luke Baptist Church.  He was installed at St. Luke on June 4, 2006.  He's the founder of G.O.D. Soldier Ministries.  Under the ministry he is also the founder of the Uncle Ned Show & L.O.L (Laugh Out Loud) with Uncle Ned Comedy Show and Christal Records.  In October 2010, god move on the heart of Pastor Carlos Jones to step down from St. Luke Baptist Church and plant Living Hope Word Church (LHWC).  Pastor Jones is very submissive to the service of God and gives all Glory to God for everything that he has accomplished through the Power of God.  He confesses that he can do nothing apart from God's grace and mercy.  He's a faithful & loving husband/father.  Pastor Jones is decicated to his family whom he recognizes as his first ministry.  He's committed to sharing the gospel to a dying world that sinners may know that Jesus saves.  Pastor Jones is a teacher/preacher that expounds on the Word of God with great passion and with undeniable hope of encouraging his listeners to believe in God.  It is his desire that all come into the true knowledge and understanding of the Kingdom of God and the Power that belongs to the believer of Jesus Christ, the Savior of us all.
